# Impact-Effort Matrix

Plot initiatives on a simple 2x2 grid to visualize trade-offs and identify quick wins. Use when you need a fast, visual way to prioritize a list of ideas or tasks with your team.

## Steps

1. **List initiatives** — gather all candidate features, tasks, or projects.
2. **Score impact** — rate each on expected business or user value (High/Low).
3. **Score effort** — rate each on required time, cost, and complexity (High/Low).
4. **Plot on the matrix** — Quick Wins (high impact, low effort), Major Projects (high impact, high effort), Fill-ins (low impact, low effort), Thankless Tasks (low impact, high effort).
5. **Decide** — do Quick Wins first, plan Major Projects, delegate Fill-ins, drop Thankless Tasks.

## Output Format

A labeled 2x2 matrix with each initiative placed in its quadrant, plus an ordered action list starting with Quick Wins.
